While you couldn't tell it by the way most of us acted, we had some very discerning music critics among us from Atlanta and they were blown away by you guys. This email is long overdue, but I wanted to tell you what a fabulous job "Blind Date" did at Callie's graduation party at Scholtz's. I cannot rave enough! They were friendly, professional, prompt, accommodating, etc. They got all of the kids involved and dancing immediately and it was pronounced the best graduation party by Callie's pals. I had calls and emails from parents wanting to know about the band and how I found out about them! Your ears and those of the band's should be burning from all of the great feedback from the event. Thank you, thank you for the suggestion and a thousand thanks to the band for their music and great spirits! You all made it a happy, happy time for the family! Hey you guys were the “bomb” last Saturday night at Westwood Country Club wedding! That was the tightest sound I have heard in years, you are no wedding singers. You are a very professional band. I especially enjoyed the snap and energy of [the two lead singers]. I especially enjoyed it when he brought the little boy on stage and danced. That was hilarious. Also, when he performed with the bride and groom. Mark Ellis is a virtuoso guitarist as well as a great singer. Every member was spectacular. Put me on your mailing list. Especially when you come to Houston.

I have pretty much recovered from the weekend that we had and I will have to tell you it was one of the more exciting events I have ever done. Not less than 50 people came up to me or called after and wanted to know where I found you guys! While I heard the food was wonderful, Blind Date made put the event over the edge. It was just the energy level I was looking for and you came through as I knew you would.
I trust you had a good trip back to Austin and I cannot wait until I have the opportunity to call upon you again. My daughter might have a wedding one day and it would be the perfect time.

I have been a wedding photographer for almost 20 years and have been to many weddings all over south central Texas throughout these years...too many to count. I recently photographed a wedding on October 7 (2006) in Austin, that ya'll performed at…I just wanted you to know that in all the wedding receptions or events that I have been to that I have never had a band that plays with such finesse and that has the variety of live music that ya'll do. You made the reception fun and I wish you could've played all night, because you have a very talented group of musicians and singers. I will highly recommend you to anyone interested in a great band.

You all were awesome. Versatile. Everyone had such a good time. Saturday morning folks were crying about how sore they were from all the dancing and partying the night before. You really "had the crowd where they needed to be." Seriously, the lead singer did the best impression of Phillip Bailey I've ever heard. Not many guys even try him. Men that said that had not danced since their high school days in the late 60's and early 70's was jammin' hard. Many thanks for allowing us to have so much fun after some intense work sessions.
Would love it if you could e-me some of the pictures you took of "us" dancing. I know my group will be in all of them. Party on!! Hope to see you guys again somewhere.
